Rho Chi Honor Society
Rho Chi is the national pharmacy honor society. Rho Chi Society members embody academic excellence and service to the community. Membership is life-long and alumni exemplify the values of Rho Chi throughout the duration of their careers.
Eligibility Requirements
Membership to the Rho Chi Beta Epsilon Chapter is by invitation only. Traditionally, membership is offered to those students who comprise the top 20% of each class.
Rho Chi Events
The University of Utah Rho Chi Chapter hosts three annual events:
- Post-Graduate Education Night is an evening devoted to educating students about the residency application process and residency programs located within the state of Utah.
- Winter Holiday service projects differ yearly.
- Spring Egg Hunt is held for children with diabetes. The event combines a carnival-like atmosphere for the children with an educational component for the parents.
Additional service activities vary from year to year.
