Prestwich Research Group

Welcome

During recent years, the Prestwich lab is focusing on two main research areas: phospholipid and phosphoinositide signaling and therapeutic biomaterials.

Literature and an overview are also included for previous research focusing on making and using probes for proteins that bind and process isoprenoids. Our research team at the University of Utah includes seven graduate students and five postdoctoral scientists with skills in organic synthesis, enzymology, protein isolation and characterization, receptor-ligand binding, molecular cloning and protein expression, cell biology, biomaterials preparation and analysis, and animal models for tissue engineering.
