Ways to Give
The College of Pharmacy has a long tradition of heavily supporting its mission with a diverse portfolio of financial resources. Utah state support provides only a fraction of the annual operating budget. Programming and many essential activities that have built Utah's prominence in pharmaceutical sciences rely on continual support bases from research revenue, grants, contracts, industrial and commerical gifts, private philanthropy (gifts, sponsorships, endowments), capital campaigns, and in-kind donations.
The Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemsitry is a major part in generating different revenue sources to serve its students and research/training missions. Financial support from donors is continually required to sustain current and establish new scholarships and fellowship for students, and purchase items not appropriate to research grants.
Industrial Giving: We encourage the philanthropic or other interests of commerical efforts in our department. Gifts of equipment facilities or student named fellowships are particularly attractive. Please contact us phceu@pharm.utah.edu with your gift ideas.
Personal and Alumni Giving: Major gifts and personal annual giving are an essential component to our program. Many giving options are possible to suit your wishes. As our alumni, we hope you might wish to give back to your former program. As a private donor, we encourage your interest in our program.
