Globalization of Pharmaceutics Education Network (GPEN)
Given the increasingly globalization of science, the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Utah seeks to provide our graduate students with exposure to international education and research experiences. Many other institutions and companies share the same goal and together have created the "Globalization of Pharmaceutics Education Network (GPEN)", an international network of pharmaceutics educational programs and commercial entities with an aligned goal to unify and share international components of pharmaceutics graduate education and research. GPEN promotes biennial meetings of its members and exchanges of faculty and students between participating institutions. Our department sends student and faculty representatives to present and participate at these meetings. The next GPEN meeting is planned for 2008. Participating Institutions Include:
