| We were hiking the Desolation Lake trial from the Guardsman pass up to the Mid Fork in Big Cottonwood Canyon. The scenery was breathtaking. | Research discussions continued even at high elevation! |

| The lectures at Gordon Conference are organized in two blocks: morning from 8:30-12:30 and evening from 19:30 to 21:30 (usually followed by scientific discussions up to very late.
