Continuing Pharmacy Education

The mission of the University of Utah College of Pharmacy Continuing Education program serves to advance health care through an educational philosophy centered on patient care, to disseminate new medical and pharmaceutical knowledge, to promote lifelong growth and learning, and to provide outreach continuing education activities to the pharmacists of Utah.

The Continuing Pharmacy Education program is growing at a significant pace towards the goal of providing diverse continuing education opportunities to the pharmacists of the state of Utah, and developing quality national programs, in order to allow pharmacists to attain the most current evidence to improve the care of their patients.  As we gain experience in managing, coordinating and accrediting programs at national pharmacy meetings, our ability to add to the quality, quantity and complexity of local programming is increasing.
