Clinical Practice & Research Interests
Clinical practice involves provision of pharmacotherapy consult services to health care providers at Primary Care Clinics. Specific areas include diabetes care, hypertension and hyperlipidemia, and psychiatric medicines. Patient care services include providing education both in English and Spanish to underserved patients at Community Health Centers.
Research interests include diabetes education and provision of diabetes services by pharmacists. Also, areas of interest include prescribing practices by different health care providers as well as use of conventional and complementary therapies by patients
